Battle of the new Managers

With the new Barclay’s Premier league season almost here, the focus will be on the 3 new managers taking charge at the 3 main clubs that will be competing  for the Title.

With the retirement of the most successful manager in England and with the red half of Manchester still in a haze, will fellow Scot David Moyes be able to fill the shoes of Sir Alex Ferguson and deliver silverware to champions Manchester United in his first season.  He has been told that he will be able to finance any players that he wants to bring in to build a new legacy at Old Trafford, and to settle nerves with the United faithful he will need to make some big signings this summer.

Chelsea stated their intentions after the Europa cup win by quickly securing the services of their former messiah Jose Mourinho.  The special one has made it public knowledge since he left England that he still has unfinished business in the Premier league, he touched the hearts of many here and his team will surely be one of the favourites to topple United.

Manchester City also made changes, they quickly sacked Roberto Mancini following his team poor finish to the season, which ended trophy less after their defeat to Wigan in the F.A Cup final. They secured the services of Manuel Pellegrini from Malaga. The Chilean comes with a reputation of playing very attractive football and in his first interviews made it clear he is looking to topple United’s dominant hold of English football, by declaring that City will be going for all trophies on offer this season, but with Carlos Tevez finally being able to leave the Premier league for Juventus, and Ballotelli’s exit in January his first task will be to bring in a new strike force to the Etihad.
